Brancaccio, M.D.
Ronald R. Brancaccio, M.D. is the Director of the Skin Institute of New York and is Clinical Professor of Dermatology at New York University School of Medicine and practices dermatology in New York City. He received his M.D. from George Washington University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center after interning at Lenox Hill Hospital. He is Board Certified in Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is an attending physician at NYU Langone Medical Center and Lutheran Medical Center.
Dr. Brancaccio has served as President of the American Contact Dermatitis Society and on its Board of Directors. He has been President of the New York Dermatologic Society, the Dermatologic Society of Greater New York and the Bay Ridge Medical Society. He is also on the Board of the New York State Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. He serves as the State Chairman of the Leaders Society for the Dermatology Foundation, which supports research in dermatology.
Dr. Brancaccio is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and has been Chairman of The Committee on Contact Dermatitis and is currently the Chairman of the History Committee. He serves as Section Editor of “Dermatitis”. Dr. Brancaccio was chosen to be the Alexander A. Fisher Lecturer of the American Contact Dermatitis Society and is an honorary member of the Brazilian Society of Dermatology and Canadian Dermatology Association. He has authored over 40 publications and book chapters, dealing primarily with skin allergy. He has been selected repeatedly as one of New York Magazine’s "Best Doctors".
Sherry H. Hsiung, M.D.
Our dermatologic surgeon, Dr. Sherry Hsiung, specializes in Mohs Micrographic Surgery as well as general and cosmetic dermatology. She attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for her undergraduate studies, finishing with honors and a double major in Biology and Chemical Engineering. She received her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School, a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society. Dr. Hsiung completed her dermatology residency at New York University School of Medicine, serving as chief resident. She continued her surgical training with a prestigious fellowship in Mohs surgery with Dr. Perry Robins at New York University.
Dr. Hsiung has lectured at both local and national conferences on dermatology. She is a fellow of the American Acadermy of Dermatology, as well as a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. She is a Medical Editor of the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology and a consultant for the Kiehl’s Dermatology Advisory Board.
Dr. Hsiung has the ability to handle a wide range of surgical procedures, from the simplest excision to extensive skin cancer surgery and repairs with flaps and grafts.
Amy E. Goldstein, D.O.
Dr. Amy Goldstein has a special interest in pediatric and cosmetic dermatology. After graduating from Brandeis University, Dr. Goldstein attended Des Moines University where she graduated in the top of her class and received her doctorate of medicine. Dr. Goldstein was presented with the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation by the American Medical Women's Association upon her graduation for scholastic achievement. She completed both her internship and dermatology residency at Saint Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx where she was chief resident and received several awards including the Koprince Education Award for her educational presentations. She has an active interest in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents which she does throughout the year in the office. She has published multiple articles as the primary author in peer reviewed journals and online. Dr. Goldstein is a member of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology.
Lisa Gruson, M.D.
Dr. Lisa Gruson is a board certified dermatologist and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the New York University School of Medicine. She practices both medical and cosmetic dermatology, including laser procedures. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan with Phi Beta Kappa Honors. She then attended the New York University School of Medicine, graduating with Alpha Omega Alpha honors and the Marion B. Sulzberger Dermatology Award. She completed her residency training in dermatology at the New York University Medical Center, where she was selected as chief resident and received the Morris Leider Award for excellence in dermatology.
Dr. Gruson has published numerous articles and presented at local and national meetings in the field of dermatology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of many medical societies including the American Contact Dermatitis Society, the Dermatologic Society of Greater New York, and the New York State Medical Society. In addition, as a Clinical Assistant Professor, she actively teaches NYU dermatology residents and is the advisor to medical students seeking to pursue a career in dermatology. Dr. Gruson has a special interest in skin allergies.
Anat Lebow, M.D.
Dr. Anat Lebow is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Lebow received her undergraduate degree from Tufts University and her medical degree cum laude from Boston University School of Medicine, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Honor Society. She completed her dermatology residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center.
She will be joining the faculty of NYU providing supervision and education to the residents in training. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, as well as a member of multiple medical societies including The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology & Aesthetic Surgery and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Lebow’s clinical interests and skills include laser medicine, general and cosmetic dermatology. She has expertise in Intense Pulse Light (IPL) photorejuvination, laser hair removal, vascular laser for hemangiomas/ectasias of the face and body, sclerotherapy vein injections, Botox, Dysport, and a variety of wrinkle fillers and facial sculpting materials including Juvederm, Restylane, Prevelle and Radiesse.
